Schedule Grooming Services Online

To maintain a calm grooming environment we schedule only one pet or one family of pets per groomer at a time. Because of this it is vital that you are on time for your appointment. If you are 15 minutes early you may need to wait to be checked in. If you are 15 minutes late you may lose your appointment slot. 

We ask all of our clients to pick up their pets as soon as possible (no more than 1 hour) after their groom is completed. If you think you might not be able to pick up your pet soon after their groom please let us know when scheduling your appointment so we can make arrangements for your pet to stay longer. 

If you repeatedly miss appointments, are late, or cancel shortly before your appointment, you may be required to make a non refundable payment up to the full amount of your pet(s) groom to secure an appointment. If you come to your appointment the deposit will be used towards the groom, if you miss or are 15 minutes late for your appointment you will lose your deposit and will need to pay another deposit to schedule another appointment. 

If your pet is matted we will remove the matting in whatever way is the most humane. Mild matting may sometimes be dematted, mild to severe matting may need to be shaved out. Your groomer will determine which is the best method to use.

Matting can cause skin irritation, bruising, and ear hematomas, and the removal of matting can cause irritation. knicks, and cuts. Kindred Spirits Pet Care is not responsible for the medical treatment for injuries caused by matting and the removal of mattes.

Additional charges may be incurred due to matting, even if the matting requires a complete shave.

Grooming is harder on senior pets and may cause soreness especially in their joints. If your pet is on any medication, specifically pain medication, make sure your pet receives their appropriate dose that day. Your pet's health and stress level will always guide your groomer's decision in how your senior pet's groom progresses. Senior pets may require more time, or less time for their groom and may not always look as perfect as their grooms did when they were younger. 

If you fail to pick up your pet before closing we will set your pet up for boarding and you will not be able to pick up your pet until our open hours the following day. We will hold your pet for 24 hours from their initial drop off time. If you pick up your pet before the 24 hours are up you may be charged a $50 "unscheduled boarding" fee per pet. If you do not retrieve your pet within 24 hours, and do not communicate with us during that time, we may hand your pet over to animal control. You will still be responsible for the grooming and unscheduled boarding fee.
