Where your dogs are family

 $30 per dog per night

Check out time is the morning window (8-10am monday-saturday, 8-9am on sunday)

If your dog needs to stay past the morning window a daycare fee is added either $20 for a half day or $30 for a full day

We provide windows for pick up and drop off, you schedule your preferred time within those windows. 

Monday - Saturday: 8-10am, noon-1pm, 4-6pm

Sunday 8-9am, 5-6pm

Please keep us informed if you will be earlier or later than your scheduled time.

Please allow 15 minutes for drop off.

All dogs are required to be current on their rabies vaccination. Please send us a picture or bring the paperwork to drop off. Tags do not provide the information we need. If your dog cannot receive the vaccine please provide a letter from your veterinarian explaining that they are exempt.  

We do not require the Bordetella vaccine. If you choose to get it you may get the injectable vaccine up to the same day that you drop off. If your dog receives the intranasal vaccine you must wait at least 2 weeks before bringing your dog to our facility as that version of the vaccine sheds the live bacteria. Kindred Spirits Pet Care will not be held responsible if your dog contracts kennel cough.

You may bring anything you wish for your pet’s stay. We cannot guarantee that the items will be returned in the same condition they were at drop off. If you bring chew toys they must be safe to leave in with your dog unsupervised. Kindred Spirits Pet Care will not be held responsible for any lost, soiled, or damaged items, or if your dog is injured by any items you bring. 

 We encourage owners to bring their dog’s food to help mitigate upset tummies. We have a fridge to keep fresh food cold if needed. 

We do provide the option of feeding your dog our house food for $1/cup. 

If you do not bring enough food for your dog's stay we will feed them our house food and add that price onto your bill.

 Please bring any medications, supplements, or medical supplies that your dog requires. We have a fridge to keep medications cold if needed. 

We provide the option of small, supervised dog play groups. If you choose to allow your dog to participate you agree to not hold Kindred Spirits Pet Care responsible for any injuries to your dog. 

We welcome all dogs including intact males and females. We keep intact dogs separate from each other. If you choose to bring your intact/in-heat female to stay with us, you agree to not hold Kindred Spirits Pet Care responsible if your dog becomes pregnant.  

You must inform us of any known or suspected behavioral concerns with your dog. We may require a free meet and greet or free daycare trial for certain behaviors to make sure we are a good fit. 

You must inform us of any known medical conditions of your pet when scheduling their boarding stay. We accept dogs with most medical conditions, as long as they are not contagious. 

Kindred Spirits Pet Care is not responsible for any complications, veterinary expenses, or death, due to boarding your dog with known or unknown preexisting medical conditions.

If your pet becomes sick or injured while in our care, we will try and contact you, if we cannot get ahold of you, or your emergency contact, and feel your pet needs immediate medical attention we will take them to whichever veterinarian we feel is best. You will be responsible for any costs incurred. On our intake question form you may note a specific amount you preauthorize for veterinary care if needed.  

 If you want your dog groomed during their stay please let us know when you schedule them to make sure we have time to groom them. We groom them as close to their departure time as possible. If you pick up early your dog may not get groomed. Dogs may not be as perfectly fresh as they would be if they came in just for a groom, because they may be groomed up to 1-2 days before pick up. 

Some dogs develop diarrhea from the change in routine while boarding. Most of the time it corrects itself, however, on rare occasions it will require medication from the veterinarian. We also keep over the counter anti-diarrhea medicine we can give with your permission. You accept that this is a possibility with boarding and will not hold Kindred Spirits Pet Care responsible. 

You are welcome to pick up your pet before their scheduled end date, but you need to contact us beforehand to update your pick up date and time. You will only be charged for the time that your pet is in our care. 

If your pet needs to stay with us longer than originally scheduled, contact us as soon as possible. If we have space we will keep your dog. However, if we do not have space you will need to make arrangements for someone to pick up your dog at their originally scheduled pick up date.

If you are not going to be able to pick up your dog on the scheduled day you must let us know. Dogs that are left for 72 hours, past their pick up date, without notice or communication may be considered abandoned and surrendered to the sheriff or Rimrock Humane Society. You will still be held responsible for paying the bill from the time your pet was in our care. 

Payment is due when you pick up your dog. We accept cash, check, credit, debit, and venmo. If you fail to pay, or your payment bounces, we will contact you to pay your bill, including any fees. If you do not, then we will take you to small claims court. Clients who we have to chase down payment from will be required to prepay for any future services, or may be dismissed as our clients.
